Adoxa is used to treat inflammatory bumps and pimple like blemishes caused by rosacea in adults and works by reducing skin inflammation caused by rosacea.
This drug is a tetracycline antibiotic and are often used to treat infections however this formulation has not been evaluated in the treatment pr prevention of infections.
It is suggested that patients do not consume alcohol even moderate drinking while using this drug as the side effects may be greatly affected.

Serious side effects are severe allergic reactions such as hives difficult breathing, tight chest, swelling of the mouth, face, lips or tongue, severe headache, dizzy, blurred vision, fever, chills, body aches, flu symptoms, swollen glands, rash, itching, joint pain, general ill feeling, changes in urination or none, watery bloody diarrhea, jaundice, dark coloured urine, confusion, weak, severe pain in upper stomach spreading to the back, nausea and vomiting, fast heart rate, loss of appetite, severe skin reaction such as fever, sore throat, swelling of face or tongue, burning in eyes, skin pain, with red or purple skin rash that spreads in the face or upper body which results in blistering or peeling.
